"Because my headstrong 1-year-old puppy, Fafner (standard schnauzer), is my first, my one and my only dog, I was extremely nervous handing him over to a complete stranger. Megan had such a friendly personality over the phone and in person that those fears went away immediately. As far as caring for my beloved pet, the quality of her dog sitting is top notch. To the little guy, he is just going to the field trip of his life. She genuinely cared for the puppy as if he were her own, took him for nature walks and would even update me on his activities during the time she had him (which I requested). She has my highest recommendation as a pet sitter, and that from a very, very picky reviewer (as I am also a cat person)."

A Pack of Dogs on Holiday

"My family and I went on vacation just north of Traverse City over the 4th of July week. We needed someone to stop by to care for our dogs a few times while were out visiting the surrounding towns. I own and operate a pet care service in Chicago, so I had high expectations to meet during my search for our pet sitter. 

First off, Pooch 'n' Purrs is Bonded and Insured. This is a great piece of mind when your letting someone into our home (a rental home), with your personal belongings and most importantly, your dog. When Megan came over the first day, she was very professional and put our minds at ease while we went over the routine for the dogs. After greeting us, she immediately knelt down to greet the 4 dogs, and after that I knew Megan was a definite dog lover.

We ended up using them for a long visit twice that week. Each time we returned home we had 4 tired dogs, so we knew they were well cared for! Pooch 'n' Purrs is a great service provider, and I would highly recommend them for any type of pet sitting!"
